Job Summary As an Operational Standards Director you will be responsible for the operational architecture and strategy for our program. You will be responsible for project managing and establishing standards and the corresponding tools, to ensure standards are executed, as designed. You will provide planning and direction for the program to achieve operational and financial goals in a dynamic environment. You will also maintain strong client relationships and work to fulfill our mission. This position reports into the program’s Vice President of Operations. Key Responsibilities: * Own the operational program vision, by translating our value proposition into outcomes, internally and externally * Define and execute project scope, goals and deliverables that support business needs * Act on metrics, identify gaps and improvements to the program * Establish operational standards and accountability associated with standards * Ensure standards build a streamlined experience for internal discipline leads, the overall organization, and external stakeholders * Establish tools and standard operating procedures to support the operational program vision * Partners with Director of Training to ensure tools and standard operating procedures are translated to training materials for on-site teams and their on-going education * Align implementation of new processes and procedures with program’s internal and external communication strategies * Build project teams (directly and indirectly) and actively coordinate team members to maximize productivity and drive efficiency * Implement and maintain project plans as required to support project and financial goals * Communicate progress, risks, and escalations appropriately at all levels of the organization, or multiple departments, and businesses * Collaborate and build relationships with all stakeholders - including senior executives, on site operational leadership, and client * Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations, analysis, facilitation events * Adapt approach and project management methodology as needed to ensure project success * Participate and present data and measurables at Quarterly Business Reviews * Motivate team members to meet company goals and move towards continued success * Absorb and embody the brand and principles of FLIK and the client Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree required * 5+ years’ experience in Operations, Project Management and/or Communications in a 5-Star / 5-Diamond Hotel environment equivalent * Proven ability to define and execute change strategies * Client-focused, proactive with a strong mind-set for continuous improvement * Proven ability to influence and manage external resources in a highly matrix’ d environment * Proven ability address competing priorities within a single project with a positive, can-do attitude * Proven business analytical capabilities to solve complex business issues * Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills needed to communicate with all levels of the organization * Strong storytelling and presentation skills- you find clear and compelling ways to communicate to multi-functional partners * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and Project Management solutions * Ability to travel up to 50% of time This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described, and may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Employer.
