Director, Patient Data Governance

The Director, Patient Data Governance leads a team of internal and external resources to perform the patient and consumer data governance function for US Human Pharma. The role has primary responsibility for partnering closely with stakeholders to understand brand/therapeutic needs and ensure data and processes are in place to meet ongoing demands and satisfies changing data privacy requirements. Determines strategic direction for capabilities that enable the information management of US Human Pharma patient and consumer relevant data. Defines policies and standards. Directs a team of direct reports for data governance of patient identity data, consent and preferences, data warehousing and analytical processing. **Duties & Responsibilities** + Provides the strategic leadership for the information management processes for US Human Pharma patient/consumer data. Leads the team to identify industry trends and changes in trends. + Defines data policies and standards for patient and consumer identity data. Determines guidelines and principles for enforcing data management standards and master data management processes + Defines consent and preference management data standards for patient data. Determines guidelines and principles for enforcing patient consent and preference standards and processes + Defines data warehousing policies and standards for patient and consumer relevant data. Determines guidelines and principles for enforcing data warehousing standards and processes + Defines policies and standards for patient data analytics and automation. Determines guidelines and principles for enforcing patient analytics, automation and AI standards and processes + Accountable for determining capability needs for vendors and negotiating SLA's, pricing models and workscope with vendors - data stewardship vendor, consent/preferences operations vendor, data warehousing vendor and analytical vendors. Leads the information management team that will manage these vendor operations. + Supervise 4-6 direct reports and leads Patient/Consuer Data Governance and Operations Shared Services in establishing data standards and performing information management for patient and consumer data. + Lead team that provides deep data consulting expertise to US Human Pharma brand, analytical, operations teams; recommends best practices for appropriate data usage and drive US HP’s integrated patient data strategy to maximize information and analytical strategic value. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred + Lead people, deliver results, customer focus, teamwork & collaboration. + 10+ Years Experience in Pharma Industry + Must have five (5) years of secondary HCP or patient or consumer data experience in pharmaceutical environment. + Working knowledge of Data Privacy concepts and regulations. Experience with specialty pharmacy and distributor data. + Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. + Demonstrated experience in leading teams and influencing upward. + Ability to manage multiple large vendors and hold them accountable for data accuracy and meeting deliverable. + Prior data governance experience strongly preferred. **Eligibility Requirements:** + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). + Must be 18 years of age or older.
