Job Description Summary:
As Director – Performance Enablement & Assessments you’ll be entrusted with the strategic development and oversight of our Performance Enablement practice and our key employee assessment tools. These tools are critical to Coca-Cola’s success and directly inform our ability to enable and guide employee performance, evaluate new applicants, guide internal talent decisions and ensure targeted development planning. To be successful in this role it will be important to bring a robust strategic approach to meeting competing stakeholder demands and a track record of leveraging assessment resources to accurately evaluate employee skills and performance.
What You'll Do for Us:
Lead Performance Enablement:
Have strategic oversight and leadership of our Performance Enablement (PE) practice (often called Performance Management in other organizations). Lead continuous improvement of PE through employee and leader feedback, market best practices and data collection. This practice is critical in driving a high performance and development culture in The Coca-Cola Company, and hence requires continuous investment and consulting.
Co-Lead Functional Assessments strategy:
Lead the development of a comprehensive strategy for functional assessments in close partnership with the VP, Global Enterprise Capability and an extended team of different subject matter experts. This strategy is critical for our capabilities roadmap which is one of the top 3 big bets on the Talent & Development Long Range Plan.
Support and develop the roadmap and deployment of the existing assessment tools:
We have significant investment in a variety of external assessment tools such as Hogan, Raven’s, Adept-15, Logical Reasoning measures and structured interviews conducted by assessment specialists. This role will develop sufficient capability and expertise in these tools to provide support, guidance or training to the organization as needed; as well as supporting the Senior Director – Global Assessment Strategy with continuous improvement of these resources and maintenance of the systems required to keep them in compliance.
How you will do the above:
Develop and implement a comprehensive change management plan to ensure smooth adoption of new strategic resources or updated performance enablement practices. Ensure that the right mindset towards assessments is being developed across the organization.
Work with both new and existing vendor partners to develop and continuously improve assessment tools while measuring employee skills quantitatively and qualitatively.
Analyze assessment data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement within the workforce. Provide actionable insights to inform HR decisions.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure assessment tools align with organizational demands.
Collaborate with partners across TCCC to oversee the deployment and integration of new or updated assessment resources within the company's HR systems and processes.
Work with external vendors and internal analytics partners to support their validation efforts – a critical aspect of ensuring the accuracy, fairness, and effectiveness of assessment tools in measuring employee skills and competencies.
Provide strategic oversight and guidance to the development of training and support to HR and management teams on the usage and interpretation of assessment tools, ensuring they are equipped to utilize these tools effectively for hiring, selection, and development planning. The training and support materials will be developed by the employee experience hub team in partnership with the Learning team.
Stay current with the latest trends, vendor offerings, and advancements in employee assessment methodologies to retain an innovative edge.
Provide guidance to the Employee Experience Hub teams to establish and update policies and best practices related to employee assessment, ensuring they reflect the organization's values and legal compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Relevant Human Resources and/or Talent & Development experience (Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field is an advantage)
Direct experience in developing assessment and performance management strategies in a global or large-scale regional context.
Experience transforming ambiguous or complex requests into pragmatic and actionable activities.
Personal or professional experience leveraging both strategic and creative thinking to problem solve, innovate and develop solutions.
Experience constructively and respectfully challenging the status quo and providing a data-informed perspective.
Strong track record in project management, including the development of detailed project plans with clear timelines and resource allocation to minimize potential risks or obstacles
Ability to leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decision making and ensure alignment with legal requirements.
Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with a cooperative and highly communicative working style.
