Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) is currently seeking the next leader of Pediatric Rehabilitation and Performance.

As the leader in the related fields of musculoskeletal health, pediatric rehabilitation plays an integral part in the HSS mission.
We are looking for a physical therapist with solid clinical and leadership experience in the world of pediatric rehabilitation to lead our multidisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, rehabilitation technicians and administrative professionals within our new state of the art HSS Pediatric Rehabilitation and Young Athlete Center. This flagship location offers the opportunity to practice in a dynamic out-patient environment and collaborate with world class colleagues across multiple disciplines.
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of pediatric rehabilitation at HSS and with our partnerships. As a member of our supportive interdisciplinary team, you will also have the opportunity to provide direct clinical intervention in our outpatient setting working with children ages newborn through 21, lead program development and educational and research endeavors.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence people, build relationships and collaborate with MDs and multi-disciplinary team members. Knowledge of general hospital management and practice is preferred. Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills coupled with excellent organization and project management skills are a must. Reports to AVP, Rehabilitation and Performance.

Current NYS Physical Therapy licensureBachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, DPT preferred7+ years experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation5+ years supervisory experienceAdvanced computers skills: Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent time management skillsExcellent multi-disciplinary communication skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCustomer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressureAbility to influence others and develop teamsStrong problem-solving skillsPCS board certification, preferred Other Requirements #LI-TA1 Pay Range - Minimum USD $150,000.00/Yr.
