What you'll be doing
As a Director within the Media Planning team, you will be a leader within the Women’s Lifestyle vertical, leading media planning for a list of strategic accounts - including growth accounts and net new business. You will strategize with Sales and creative counterparts to develop and pitch plans, and playing a critical role in the management of client relationships to grow existing partnerships and secure new business. Responsibilities such as partnership with Sales to develop partner specific rate cards, productizing new branded content packages for the category, and meeting the daily demands of category-specific RFP proposals are all critical to success in this role.
This is a strategic, individual contributor role requiring market expertise in native and display advertising, with established experience creating plans, providing pricing/rate expertise across products, and optimizing deals that meet client KPIs. This together with encouraging cross-departmental relationships (Sales, Marketing, Ad Ops, Product, Data).
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
+ 7+ years experience in media planning/account management
+ Experience in building media plans required
+ Proficiency in CRM (i.e. Salesforce) and OMS (i.e. OP1)
+ Understanding of rates types and performance metrics within digital media landscape
+ Experience media planning for native content required
+ Knowledge of ad specs and 3rd party tracking capabilities required
