Director, Population Health & Financial Analytics

Provide leadership and advocacy in developing foundational data and analytics capabilities to support the Seattle Children's Care Network (SCCN) and Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) Accountable Care value-based care (VBC) transformation. Participate in implementing the SCCN strategic plan as a member of the SCCN management team and by partnering with leadership of SCH, CUMG, and SCCN primary care pediatric practices, as well as SCH strategic planning, finance, quality, information services, SCH administrative functions, and physicians.
Evaluate, select and implement the appropriate combination of technology tools, data and analytics infrastructure, and related communication/collaboration tools that enable SCCN to drive improvements in quality, cost and experience for its value-based contracts and network patient populations. Develop and manage approved budgets for technologies.
Responsible for the transformation of network data into actionable information, to assess the effectiveness of data use within SCCN, and to measure the performance impact of value-based payment arrangements. Provide data-based insights to improve the management of health care utilization and costs based on population health best practices and evidence-based clinical measures. Use network data to measure and evaluate quality performance, provider practice patterns and variation, and cost trends. Develop models to support forecasting impacts of changes in variables.
Serve as a subject matter expert in current population health analytics and information technology tools. Maintain knowledge of and share information about trends and emerging thinking in the field of Population Health data and analytics and supporting information technology.
Provide analytics leadership and subject matter expertise to SCCN and Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) for population health based clinical and financial transformation initiatives.
Manage a team of data analysts/program managers to support defined programs and initiatives. Collaborate with SCH Information Services to establish and maintain clinical and financial business intelligence infrastructure and processes to support analytics.
**Required Education and Experience**
+ Master's Degree or higher in health informatics, biostatistics, health services administration, business, computer science or related field.
+ 7 years of progressively more responsible healthcare analytics experience in a provider organization, managed care organization or similar environment, including experience working at an executive level.
**Required Credentials**
+ N/A.
**Preferred**
+ Relevant Accountable Care, Managed Care, and Clinically Integrated (CIN) health care experience.
+ 3 years experience in a leadership role.
**Compensation Range**
$176,450.00 - $264,674.00 per year
**Salary Information**
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
