Director, Power Risk Engineering
Director, Power Risk Engineering We're hiring! We are looking for a Director, Power Risk Engineering to join our business in either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Bangkok, Thailand. Are you an established power industry engineer with breadth of experience? Are you looking for a challenging role with travel and the opportunity to support and engage with a broad range of clients? Aon is looking for candidates for a regional (Asia) role providing risk engineering support for our conventional power clients. What the day will look like There is lots of variety in the role with time supporting colleagues, working with clients, developing business, and visiting client locations. Components of a “typical” day could include: + Travelling to and visiting client sites for site surveys and meetings; + Preparing technical survey reports based on site visits and discussions; + Engaging with technical support for risk improvement for our conventional power clients in Asia; + Working with colleagues on risk analysis to assess risk and risk mitigation options; + Identifying and delivering on growth opportunities to better support our clients; + Working with broker colleagues to support insurance placement; + Providing project review services including plan reviews and site audits; + Developing and delivering training workshops on loss prevention/risk management; + Supporting and technical mentoring of colleagues.
