Job Summary
The Director of Practice Operations is responsible for the overall operation of the SJMG Medical Practice Locations. Ensuring that efficient systems are in place, and staff is properly trained. Implementing and evaluating systems within the centers that promote quality of care while monitoring their cost effectiveness. Standardize policies and procedures, develop monitoring systems, address compliance issues and evaluate effectiveness of programs. Share evaluation, monitoring and training tools with other Directors and/or SJMG leadership personnel. 4 year / Bachelor's Degree: Management/Strategy (Required)Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Master's Degree: Business, Health Administration or other Health Related Field. (Preferred)Master's Degree: Healthcare Administration (Preferred)Certification / Licensure / Registration

5 - 10 yrs experience with overall management of multi-site physician practice/networkExperience with with writing and managing medical office policies/procedures, patient relations and EHR/Practice Management IT systemsMust have advanced understanding of physician practice startup requirements as well as RVU principles and concepts and MGMA benchmarksProven leadership experience (Required)Strong Financial Management skills to include billing/collections and accounts receivable management, managed care and codingWorking knowledge of EHR/Practice Management IT systems, provider credentialing processes and requirements and healthcare marketingExperience using McKesson software package (Preferred)Required Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, including Outlook, Word Power Point and ExcelAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
