Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Procurement Systems Implementation & Integration to lead our efforts in integrating acquisitions and managing divestitures and partnering on the Procurement Technology roadmap. This role is critical in ensuring our procurement systems, tools, integrations, and data programs are effectively implemented to align with BMS's strategic objectives. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams, including category leads, IT, EIMO, FIMO and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive understanding and alignment across the organization. **Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities** : **Systems Strategy & Roadmap** + Oversee a comprehensive systems implementation strategy, including project plans that outline objectives, timelines, resource requirements, and key milestones. + Ensure costs are controlled and aligned with approved budgets. + Collaborate closely with acquisition partners, GPOs, and Operations teams to translate process/functional requirements into technical requirements in partnership with IT. + Evaluate and recommend solutions to support procurement in alignment with the overall tech/digital vision. **Implementation & Integration Execution** + Lead the acquisition and divestiture activities and represent Procurement both internally and externally in partnership with leadership. + Define system requirements and functionalities needed to support procurement processes, in collaboration with stakeholders. + Oversee the customization, configuration, and seamless integration of procurement systems with other enterprise systems internal or external (e.g., ERP, finance, supplier management systems). + Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration of existing procurement data into new systems. + Identify and address issues or defects during testing and work with the project team to implement solutions. **Systems Continuous Improvement** + Execute continuous improvement initiatives based on process improvements identified by GPO or others. + Assess and optimize procurement systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. + Utilize external research, benchmarking, and professional networks to adopt procurement best practices. **Key Stakeholder Management** + Manage a global team of internal and external systems implementation and integration professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and leveraging best practices in dev/operations methodologies. + Manage relationships with third-party service providers to oversee, mitigate, and enhance technology linked to outsourced operations. **Qualifications** Minimum Requirements + Minimum education of a B.S./B.A. required; M.S./M.B.A. preferred. + Minimum of ten (10) years of business experience, with three (3) to five (5) years of multi-disciplined procurement experience. Minimum of three (3) years of pharmaceutical procurement experience. + Managerial experience, including managing teams of senior professionals and managers and establishing performance expectations. + Experience leading and participating on cross-functional and/or global teams. + Procurement process knowledge as well as advanced systems/technology knowledge and experience, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs) and other relevant software. **Preferred Qualifications** + Strong experience in Procurement and system implementation. + Experience with acquisitions and divestitures. + Professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CPIM). \#LI-Hybrid If you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
