The Role
Stock Plan Services, an equity compensation services division of Fidelity Investments, is seeking an experienced Director of Product Analysis. As a Director of Product Analysis, you will partner with our product and tech leaders’ teams to influence the broader strategic decisions, multi -year roadmaps, gather business requirements for the end-to-end journeys across all persona’s facilitating a future state solution and driving alignment across product areas.
You will help define our team’s strategic goals, driving alignment across product areas while maintaining and developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.
You have proven experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Key attributes that make up a successful Director Product Analysis are highly motivated, “self-starters” with a sense of ownership, driven to succeed.
Initiate and lead discovery by ensuring an e2e focus. Working across the domain on issues/opportunities that cut across teams, to facilitate prioritization, resourcing, and outcomes.
Lead the product feature definition by defining, refining, and communicating the upfront analysis and planning to leadership, associates, and business partners.
Contribute to the development of strategies to drive business growth and customer value by effectively using data and analytics from customers and competitors.
Set goals and measure performance through established critical metrics and deliver agreed upon business, technology, and people results.
Inspect and evaluate progress and remove impediments.
Provide subject matter expertise as needed for assigned initiatives and features.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required.
10+ years' experience in business analysis, strategic planning, or product ownership. Stakeholder management and financial services experience is preferred, but not required.
You have experience with brokerage technology.
You should be comfortable navigating complex structures – interact with cross functional team that span across multiple business units.
You can work with ambiguity and uncertainty, with technologies you may have never worked with previously and gather the requirements, identify pain points and gaps.
You possess strong strategic acumen with a customer focused perspective and take a data-driven approach to understanding business needs.
You effectively translate business needs and improvement opportunities, develop use cases, and propose solutions to enhance value delivered.
You can lead, influence, and motivate colleagues without formal authority.
You are intellectually curious and model a culture of learning and coaching.
You can participate in technical discussions, help make technical trade-offs, and help set execution path for development teams.
You possess strong time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple competing priorities.
The Team
Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides companies with outstanding administration for their equity compensation programs, including stock option, restricted stock, employee stock purchase, stock appreciate and performance plans. SPS Product Development supports the business and technology work streams that deliver against approved initiatives including new products for emerging markets and improvements to existing products.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
