We are seeking a Director, Product Management to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

The Director of Product Management is responsible for execution for our patient security product. This role manages and is a new addition to a small but extremely high-performing team of PMs. The PM Director role will be the point person for Imprivata’s patient security initiatives, coordinating across all departments to launch and achieve great results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the product lifecycle from strategic planning to product delivery. Represent the needs of the customer by defining and prioritizing product vision and design. Define business cases and prioritize product requirements. Responsible for overall design quality, innovation and creative vision. Partner closely with Engineering to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality enterprise software. Communicate product strategy that aligns with business goals to key stakeholders, including the executive team. Manage a small team of high-performing PMs, helping them align to company priorities, listening to and amplifying their concerns and ideas, removing obstacles, and guiding their career growth. Evaluate potential product opportunities to optimize investments and drive growth. Work with Business Development to manage key partnerships, and establish new partnerships as needed. Ensure successful release of new product releases by working closely with solutions Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Provide roadmap updates to customers, sales, and partners, sometimes in person on-site. Act as product evangelist. Manage the department and team plans by establishing clear goals and holding staff accountable and participate in regular feedback dialog with staff members. Manage corrective action as appropriate. Travel up to 25% for customer site visits and trade shows. Other duties as assigned and required. 

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related discipline, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT or software. Experience with managing a team of product managers or similar. Experience with CIAM or IAM products a plus. Experience working with agile development process. Excellent presentation and written communication skills. Experience with the global market. Ability to travel 25% of the time required. 

This position offers a total compensation range of $219,000.00 to $267,000.00  (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata’s benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata’s compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate’s location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
