The Automotive Industry is in a new era of innovation driven by Leading Edge Compute and system level solutions.  Qualcomm a leader in the IVI/Cockpit Compute market is looking for a Director of Product Management for our Automotive Cockpit products.  This exciting role will leverage a strong technical background as well as program & customer management experience to ensure our Cockpit products efficiently come to market from start to initial customer launches.  The Product Manager will team with the Cockpit Product management team, development teams, program managers and lead customer account management to ensure the product, collaterals and execution plans match with market and customer targets.   This role will have a special focus on AI and Cockpit Experience, ensuring our Automotive Compute Products deliver an end to end solution meeting the needs of the industry and our customers.

Qualcomm is seeking an experienced individual for this Product Management role in the San Diego area to help lead and drive the company's Automotive Cockpit products.

Roles and Responsibilities
•    Enhancing end-to-end product strategy for Cockpit chipset solutions for Automotive platforms
•    Assisting in the definition of the roadmap of Cockpit chipsets including HW, SW, and ecosystem partners around Qualcomm Automotive Products
•    Collection and Prioritization of Product Requirements, Feature Requests and Market Requirements to ensure key product milestones are met in an optimized and efficient manner
•    Cradle to grave ownership of Cockpit products: Working with automotive chipset engineering, program management, business development, eco-system management, customer support and marketing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of the targeted Cockpit Chipset.
•    Building and owning a cross domain plan for product introduction.
•    Working with automotive chipset engineering, program management, business development, eco-system management, customer support for lead product and customers
•    Organizing RFI and RFQ responses, driving cross functional teams to respond on time, with high quality, and compelling offerings
•    Identifying and implementing business practices to drive organizational efficiency in the Cockpit Product Management team.
 

This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
• 8+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  MBA 8+ years of experience in the following areas preferred:
•  Experienced with Qualcomm development processes, business systems, and account management workflow.
•    Previous experience in automotive infotainment and cockpit design, systems, software, test or applications engineering
•  Experience with Qualcomm chipset product lines
•  Effective communication skills with cross functional teams, both technical and non-technical, within a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative environment

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

$196,000.00 - $294,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
