Job Description Summary:
Position Overview
We are seeking a finance product manager who will own and manage products used to provide data, analytical, and reporting solutions for the internal KO finance and strategy community. You will work closely with the finance, strategy, and key business stakeholders, the product delivery team, and the data engineering team to define the product vision, roadmap, and requirements. You will also run projects to ensure the products are delivered on time, within budget, and highly quality. You will be responsible for the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
What You’ll Do for Us
In partnership with product business owners, lead and own the product vision and strategic development process, aligning with company objectives to include multi-year product roadmap development and periodic review processes that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan.
Build the business case for new or revised proposed products and initiatives, including cost/benefit estimates, market trends, competitive and risk analysis, industry best practices, and product development timelines. Drives the business case for change via (financial/ROI) analysis to quantify & determine the value to the company of a current or potentially new system/application.
Identify product and feature success metrics/business KPIs, analyze performance daily/weekly, and conduct data analytics to prioritize future development and identify new product opportunities.
Envision and define the future state of the integrated support capability and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to define technology and process standards and best practices. Champion the adoption of the standards and best practices.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and quality delivery of initiatives by managing bottlenecks, issues, and risks, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and escalating issues and risks to drive solutions as necessary.
Coordinate and manage the release of case management products and services, including plan, prioritizing, and delivering systems features; also perform and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation approval
Develop mutually beneficial relationships with selected technologies and leading vendors along an informed and well-defined roadmap to meet the company’s objectives.
Assess legacy software development/implementation and product management structures and processes, partnering with IT stakeholders to align on improvement recommendations
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years in delivering IT solutions for a global consumer goods business with the ability to create and maintain standard project deliverables for multiple projects such as technical product specifications, requirements backlogs, process flows, wireframes, mockups, timelines, project plans, etc.
Experience in business process re-engineering and standardizing business processes across entities.
It is essential to demonstrate the ability to plan and prioritize business needs and allocate resources by appropriately balancing internal capabilities with external consultants.
Beyond technical knowledge, outstanding communications skills, and Agile methodologies with a collaborative, team-based leadership style.
Demonstrated effectiveness in working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management counterparts to deliver products/services
Results-orientated leadership with strong negotiation, responsiveness, collaboration, and consensus-building experience.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills for using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions; complemented with ability to succinctly define a story, suggest a set of requirements and justify the prioritization of business objectives.
