The Opportunity:
As Director, Professional Services Sales for OpenText, you’ll be responsible for growing the Professional Services business in the Americas region. You’re the one who knows how to inspire and lead a sales team to success, as well as understand and communicate the value of OpenText services to our customers. You’ve already demonstrated that you have the ability and a successful track record of growing a services business by aligning and driving the growth strategy and operations of the business. For this role, you should have experience growing a services business in Outcome Translation and Delivery, Implementation and Integration, Testing and Optimization, Platform Modernization. Experience with OpenText IT Operations, Cyber Security, Application Delivery Management and Content will be an asset.

 

You are great at: 
•Business Development: You have a track record of growing Professional Services businesses focused on Enterprise-class clients.  
•New Business Development: You have the experience, to understand, ideate and create new routes to existing and new markets by providing thought leadership in the realm of Opentext Solutions and Services.
•Revenue and Bookings: You know how to lead and coach your team to exceed revenue and bookings objectives, closing both new and recurring business.
•Customer Relationships: Building trusted relationships with our clients and ensuring an outstanding client experience with OpenText and the Professional Services team. 
•Leadership: Building, developing and retaining a team of engaged, high performing professionals that deliver amazing results.  
•Teamwork: Be part of the OpenText team, mobilizing the skills and expertise of the business for the benefit of our customers. You are viewed as a partner by key stakeholder communities such as Sales, Product Management and Engineering.
•Strategy Development: Be a key member of the Americas Leadership Team for Professional Services, developing strategies to achieve and surpass company goals.
•Alignment: Ensure that the Professional Services offerings are in alignment with customer and company needs. 
•Other related duties as assigned

•Proven. You have successfully built and led services teams, and have a track record of success in sustaining, maintaining and building revenue streams
•Service Minded: You deliver customer engagements, through your teams, like you would expect to receive it - with excellence 
•Cross-Cultural Leadership: Must be willing to travel regionally and globally as required
•Domain. Experience with the Enterprise Information Management solutions. Bachelor's Degree with a technical or business focus preferred. 
•Excellent Communication. You know what to say and more importantly, how to say it. You know how to have real business conversations with leaders. 
•Metric Driven: Understand the numbers of your business clearly and knows what to drive to achieve success
