**Director, Program Management – Strategic Initiatives Execution** **Location:** Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. The **Director, Program Management- Strategic Initiatives Execution** will be responsible for execution of strategic initiatives in partnership with initiative owners and IT/Operations accountable leaders and their teams. **How you will make an impact:** **Program Execution:** + Lead the execution of strategic programs and initiatives through collaboration with the initiative leads and IT and Operations accountable partners. + Conduct execution strategy discussions to develop a cohesive and collaborative execution plan. + Define and track KPIs to ensure alignment with quality standards and program objectives. + Proactively identify and address execution risks and issues, focusing on minimizing impacts to members, customers, providers, and operations. + Possess a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-wide execution processes for end-to-end delivery. + Expertise in utilizing execution support tools such as JIRA and SmartSheet. + Demonstrate strong financial management skills for handling large-scale programs. + Validate and optimize solutions to ensure efficient delivery. + Partner with Quality Assurance teams and E2E testing teams to ensure defect-free execution and outcomes. + Ensure Operations Readiness to support seamless program execution. + Foster collaboration with organizational leaders to develop a model that achieves program objectives. + Quickly acquire business knowledge to engage effectively with stakeholders. **Analytical and Communication Skills:** + Analyze and synthesize complex problems and data, presenting summaries clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats customized for project team and SLT level stakeholders. **Thought Leadership and Executive Presence:** + Provide thought leadership on execution practices and strategies. + Exhibit strong executive presence with the ability to engage with senior leadership on both strategic and tactical matters. + Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to senior leadership teams. **Passion for AI and Productivity Tools:** + Identify opportunities to apply AI for improving execution efficiency and achieving project outcomes. **People Management Skills:** + Lead and manage a large team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, development, and continuous growth. + Continuously improve associate engagement, morale and satisfaction. **Minimum Requirements:** Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of initiative execution or IT management experience in a large enterprise; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:** + Ability to manage across geographically diverse associates and vendor partners strongly preferred. + Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering complex initiatives in a cross-functional environment preferred. + Healthcare insurance experience preferred. + Management consulting experience preferred. _If this job is assigned to any Government Business Division entity, the applicant and incumbent fall under a 'sensitive position' work designation and may be subject to additional requirements beyond those associates outside Government Business Divisions. Locations: California; Colorado; District of Columbia (Washington, DC); Illinois; Maryland; Minnesota; Nevada; New York.
