The Role

As Director, Program Management, you will be responsible for coordinating the definition and establishing the structure and governance of the Program, its MVP and business case and when approved, facilitate the Program’s implementation. This Director role is a strong mix of strong management, influence, facilitation, and collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with the program executive sponsors and Product Area Leaders to ensure that the programs they lead stay on track and deliver outstanding results!

Bachelor’s degree required10+ years of financial services experienceDeep understanding of the asset management industry as well as knowledge of FFIO’s businesses preferredDemonstrated ability to build positive relationships across the organizationFlexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to teams are a mustExperienced individual with a solid ability to work across an organization at the senior levelProven experience leading and delivering results on large programs and projectsSolid organizational skills and a high degree of integrity combined with the ability to readily adapt to rapidly changing environments and deal with competing prioritiesExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think through problems, assess a variety of factors and recommend solutionsHigh leadership potential and a high degree of comfort with ambiguityOutstanding communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with specific strengths in communicating with senior internal leadershipAbility to perform operational and administrative program management responsibilities such as metrics collection, status reporting and financial updatesAbility to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff and managementStrong attention to detail as well as effective time management abilitiesExperience working across organizations to bring disparate teams together

The Team

The Fidelity Funds and Investment Operations (FFIO) Program Management team provides program and project management to both FFIO and cross-Fidelity sponsored programs. The team is based in the US, and we have staff in Merrimack, NH, Boston, MA and Westlake, TX.
