The Director, Program Management ensures successful execution of projects and activities for the sustaining core team that is responsible for all sustaining programs within the Surgical business unit.
How you'll make an impact:
Serve as the point of contact with the Program Strategy Review Board (PSRB) consisting of the entire Surgical Leadership Team.Ensure appropriate prioritization of all sustaining projects within the business unit.Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and manages all aspects of the project(s) to ensure ultimate project success.Manage and establish project structure, including identifying and allocating resources and creating project plans.Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases within the program, and coordinate the sharing and prioritization of resources among projectsExecute program plans and communicate program status to stakeholders at various levelsDevelop a high-level milestone plan for the program and manage program change in accordance with the change management plan to control scope and quality.Manage project closure activities, including gathering lessons learned and driving changes for future continuous improvements.Liaison with the GSC PMO and the Surgical BU’s Executive Action Team (EAT)Manage the budgeting and resources processResponsible for the creation of the Sustaining Strat and AOP PlansMaintains portfolio timelines and milestonesManages Meta ScrumEnsures each program execution metrics are created and maintained.Identify and evaluate other process improvement opportunitiesWork with stakeholders from BU, GSC, and others establishes the priority of sustaining programs and other activitiesEstablish what needs to be reviewed at Program Strategy Review Board (PSRB) vs. Executive Action Team (EAT) or at other forumsAddress the escalated issues, and if required timely escalation to Executive Action Team (EAT) or Program Strategy Review Board (PSRB)Establish and maintain program stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
