Apply today and find out why MTC is a true Leader in Social Impact! **Position Summary:** Reports to the Regional Facility Administrator. Responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance and continuous improvement programs to ensure that correctional operations, physical and mental health care services, and overall facility standards comply with regulatory requirements and best practices. This position will work closely with department heads, staff, and external auditors to maintain accreditation standards, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the safety and well-being of both staff and incarcerated individuals. **Essential Functions:** + Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Assurance (QA) program to ensure all operational processes, policies, and procedures comply with contractual, state, federal, and accreditation requirements (e.g., ACA, NCCHC, NDS, PBNDS). + Create a schedule for conducting audits and reviewing processes related to all MTC medical and mental health contracts ensuring these processes comply with national and regulatory standards and contractual obligations. Create and/or utilize audit tools provided by agencies or accreditation bodies. + Analyze data, make recommendations and write necessary reports and corrective action plans. Evaluate effectiveness of plans as needed. + Maintain calendar of all audits, quality improvement studies, scheduled meetings and accreditation audits, ensuring all audits are completed and accreditation achieved or maintained. + Assist the Director, Health Services Administration in monitoring facility operations through evaluation and reconciliation of information obtained through EMR. + Review medical records and data to determine compliance with policies and procedures, current practice standards, utilization review, and quality of services. + Provide consultation, training, and technical assistance to staff, patients and others. Assist in developing work procedures and performance standards. + Detect, record, investigate, and report special events, taking corrective action as appropriate. + May supervise the work of others. + Maintain positive relationships with all contracted and employee providers, regulatory agencies and facility administration; handle difficult interpersonal contacts appropriately. + Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records in compliance with HIPAA. + Maintain accountability of property; adhere to safety practices. Demonstrate a commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment. + Contribute to our company Culture of Caring by maintaining positive and respectful relationships with employees, customers, vendors, program recipients and our community. + Ensure day-to-day activities promote sustainability and reduce the impact on the environment by minimizing waste and maximizing recycling; saving energy; and minimizing water usage. + It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. **Education and Experience Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in health care administration, nursing, public health, or business administration. + Minimum of three years supervisory experience + Minimum of two years’ experience in auditing, accreditation, and quality assurance in a correctional healthcare setting. + Must demonstrate excellent leadership abilities, be willing to travel, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Unless waived by management, must possess valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record. _Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
