The Director, Quality Assurance is accountable for quality of one of the most audacious software builds the warehouse industry has ever seen. This role is accountable for the QA resources responsible for testing the web apps, mobile apps, APIs, and integrations with existing warehouse management and control systems that collectively make up the LinOS platform. Ultimately, LinOS will be at the heart of every one of our 400+ global warehouses helping to achieve Lineage’s vision of being the world’s most dynamic temperature-controlled logistics company. This means that in addition to being a skilled QA practitioner and leader, you also need to be able to review and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver. This is a critical roles in that journey, and it will require someone who has a true passion for logistics data and associated technologies. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Drives the QA vision and testing strategy for LinOS + Responsible for definition, planning and execution of testing efforts + Ensures that testers and automation engineers are trained in QA best practices + Provides high-level direction for manual and automated test strategy across multiple software components in an Agile environment + Defines and documents quality assurance procedures + Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety + Leads numerous teams of software testers and automation engineers + Travel domestically and occasionally internationally up to 50% of the time **Education and Work Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent work experience + 5 years experience managing QA teams + 10+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Test Engineering experience, handling full product life cycles + Hands-on experience with planning, designing, executing tests and expertise in performance testing + Experience implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications + Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools & automation frameworks + Knowledge of node.js, Java, .NET, Python, C# or equivalent coding language + Working experience in JIRA + Experience with supply chain software a plus **Required Skills and Abilities:** + Possess a willingness to be coached and proactively seek feedback + Handle multiple assignments / projects simultaneously + Properly set priority and order for work + Work in a fast-paced, agile environment + Ask for help and provide it to others + Understand your skills and your talents and apply them appropriately + Learn and apply new technologies and business concepts + Maintain personal accountability for getting things done on time and with quality results + Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to business leaders and other non-technical teammates + Exemplify Lineage’s values of safety, trust, respect, boldness, innovation, and servant leadership Why Lineage?
