As Director of Quality Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our enterprise and omni-channel systems. This role ensures that all software and technology solutions meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, fostering a shift towards automation and agile engineering that integrates quality seamlessly into the full product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transforming quality practices while driving the adoption of modern testing methodologies in an agile environment. They will implement test automation engineering, test driven development, enabling continuous integration and delivery of high-quality code at a high velocity. The person in this role will influence across the organization and collaborate closely with the business, development, and operations teams.
Responsibilities Develop and implement enterprise quality strategies, practices, policies, and procedures tailored to digital transformation and retail technology. Guide and develop platform-centric automation solutions and frameworks that scale across the enterprise.Establish near and long-term quality goals and metrics, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and digital initiatives.Institute and oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of the enterprise quality strategy, ensuring it supports agile development and modern testing practices.Be a leader of leaders. Manage and develop leaders that lead teams of quality engineering and assurance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Utilize Agile, DevOps, and other methodologies to drive process improvements that enhance software quality, reduce defects, and increase developer productivity.Collaborate with departmental teams and act as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and technology partners.Conduct gap analysis, develop, and implement improvement plans to address potential quality issues in software and business technology deployment and integration.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and report on software quality performance.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and knowledge in modern testing methodologies and tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, quality management or related field (or equivalent work experience).At least 5 years in a leadership role managing quality systems in a digital or retail technology environment. Strong knowledge of multiple application architectures ranging from ERP systems to cloud native API microservices. Understanding of test case creation and execution in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test-Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavioral-Driven Development (BDD) with a solid understanding of quality-related software and tools, including automated testing frameworks.

BenefitsThe annual base salary range is $148000 - $190000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
