Job Summary:
The Director, Risk Advisory Services (RAS) Analytics and Innovation will assist with the development and execution of a strategy for innovation, as well as works on RAS Operational and Financial Due Diligence. This role works closely with other leaders within the RAS practice, as well as those across functional groups/regions/markets, to drive collaboration, coaching and training related to strategic initiatives, efficiency, especially as it relates to GRC, emerging technologies such as GenAI and other technology capabilities.
The Director will handle engagements with diverse data sets and brings efficiencies and data-driven insights to RAS engagements. This role works closely with the RAS practices to bring solutions to data challenges and continuously provide improvements to enhance efficiency and promote innovation within the practice.
The individual in this role will be proficient in GRC technology tools, and will be responsible for the implementation and successful roll out of the new GRC software selected to drive efficiencies and consistency with the delivery of SOX and IA projects in RAS. In addition, the position will shape the strategy behind adopting GenAI tools and solutions in Risk Advisory to drive automation for SOX and Internal Audit engagements.
The Director plans, oversees, and manages detailed project initiatives around the execution of innovation, including how to transform testing methodologies, enhance client deliverables, efficiently and effectively handle big data, and train the Firm’s RAS professionals with the skillset to execute the use of tools to promote these initiatives.
The Director will also assist in the development and tactical execution of the RAS strategic plan.
Job Duties:
Develops and executes strategy for Innovation for RAS practice Plans, oversees, and manages detailed project initiatives relating to RAS automation of engagement execution, client deliverables and data visualizations Leads the delivery and successful completion of digital risk engagements for external clients Builds and executes on plan to productize certain RAS data analytics and automation Leads the implementation and phased roll out of the new GRC tools RAS has selected across the globe Assists in change management, implementation and stakeholder management surrounding priority account management initiatives, working with BDO Leadership Acts as primary contact and consults with clients regarding all questions and information, including progress, challenges encountered, and issues identified Assists in driving practice-wide communication efforts on innovation Works in conjunction with BDO leadership to enhance technological capabilities with the focus on innovation Shapes the creation and execution of the strategy to develop and roll out digital risk solutions based on GenAI technology Participates in the interviewing, onboarding, and training process of new hires in innovation and strategy or related BDO service lines Serves as a coach for setting priorities for teams, as applicable Assists in the facilitation of collaboration between strategy teams working on different areas of the strategy, and makes connections across all RAS practices and other related Advisory and/or BDO business lines Works with the Learning and Development team to ensure innovation is incorporated into RAS trainings and conferences Assists with strategy planning meeting design and preparation, as needed Collaborates with engaged third-party consultants around various aspects of strategic planning and execution, as needed Other duties, as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management Information Systems, requiredExperience:
