We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead our Federal DoD/Civilian sales team. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Public Sector, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth, leading a high-performing team, and shaping our strategy in the Federal DoD/Civilian market. What You'll Do: 

Lead and manage the Federal DoD/Civilian sales team to meet or exceed revenue targetsIdentify and capitalize on new business opportunities and strategic partnershipsDevelop and execute sales strategies that drive aggressive revenue growth across both new and existing accountsEnsure business objectives and financial targets are met across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goalsCollaborate with marketing to enhance Infoblox’s presence at key events and develop market-specific materialsAlign cross-functional teams—including inside sales, marketing, and channel partners—to execute an effective go-to-market strategyMaintain rigorous pipeline management, ensuring a 3x pipeline-to-quota ratio, with clear accountability through reporting toolsRecruit, develop, and mentor top talent to build a high-performing sales team driven by urgency, accountability, and excellence

What You’ll Bring:

Active TS (TS/SCI preferred) clearance is highly desired10+ years of experience leading and developing successful sales teams and channel partnerships in IT security or related fieldsProven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, close high-value deals, and expand market share within the Federal DoD/IC sectorA strong track record of hiring, coaching, and retaining top-tier sales professionalsHands-on experience in building and executing sales plans that drive measurable outcomesExpertise in aligning sales, operations, and marketing strategies to optimize performanceA strategic mindset paired with a detail-oriented approach to execution and operational cadenceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred

After 6 months:

Deep understanding of Infoblox’s business strategy, strengths, and opportunities in the Federal DoD/IC marketA well-coached and motivated sales team aligned with corporate revenue targetsStrong collaboration with cross-functional teams to refine and execute tailored sales strategies

After 1 year:

A 3x pipeline-to-quota ratio, driven by effective team leadership and strategic market engagementExecution of an innovative sales strategy, delivering measurable growth across key accountsA cohesive, high-performing sales team consistently exceeding targets and driving business success

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our compensation philosophy. At Infoblox, we believe in paying for performance. You can expect our employment offers to take many factors into consideration, including but not limited to the location of the role, internal equity, applicable past experience, individual skill set, education, and professional certifications. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position is $180K - $200K in Virginia plus commissions.
