Job Description

NBCUniversal is seeking a Director to join the Advanced Advertising Strategy team to focus on forging offsite media partnerships with retail media networks. On this team, you will design strategies, business plans, forecasting, and modeling to drive growth and yield. This will involve evaluating partnership opportunities, tracking performance, and owning communication for executive leadership. In addition, you will own commercialization efforts and strategic partnerships in collaboration with Sales, Planning & Inventory, Product, Sales Enablement, and Finance teams and be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on the retail media (and adjacent) industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify, evaluate, and execute strategies for retail media, enabling rapid revenue growth in collaboration with sales leadership and senior stakeholders across NBCU departments and partner organizations.Partner on go-to-market sales motion and how retail media partnerships & offerings fit into NBCU’s day-to-day business and suite of data solutions.Evaluate potential partnerships and areas of opportunity to deliver important KPIs within NBCU.Scale the monetization of new partnership & offerings by establishing the selling strategy and operationalizing end-to-end processes for new products & partnerships.Coordinate technical integrations and data collaborations with key partners in the marketplace.Monitor marketplace trends and extract insights across linear TV, CTV, retail media, and advanced advertising.Maintain regular business reviews with workings groups across partnerships to track progress and evolve strategic initiatives.Track revenue and other key metrics within retail media partnerships to maintain pulse on the business.Collaborate with other internal groups to maintain consistency across marketplace insights readouts that go out to the company.Routine deliverables to leadership teams to monitor partnership performance.

Qualifications5+ years of experience, preferably in retail media, advanced advertising, measurement, or programmatic roles.Familiarity with the larger digital ad sales and programmatic ecosystem. RMN or commerce marketplace experience a plus.Collaboration is essential. You will need to be results driven. Leading tests on partnership initiatives and digging into data to extract insights and communicate results will be a large part of this role.The ideal candidate will be proactive. Marketplace insights will require converging intel from multiple internal and external sources and framing NBCU’s positioning on a regular basis.Exceptional executive presence and interpersonal skills.Above average PowerPoint, Excel and data visualization skills are a requirement for this role. The willingness to learn and improve these skills is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
