Director, Revenue Operations Scaled Services, Enablement and Support

This team will focus on all aspects of demand generation strategy with a core competency in transportation products and technology. This team informs growth strategy, powers customer acquisition and expansion, champions customer experience, influences product roadmaps, surfaces key data and insights, and creates process enhancement.

Walmart is scaling new and innovative transportation services that utilize Walmart’s global supply chain scale and expertise. This is a ground floor leadership role within the revenue organization to build and scale the Revenue Strategy and Operations org. 

You’ll make an impact by:  

Building a Revenue Strategy & Operations function from the ground up for an exciting new transportation initiative.  

Supporting the Revenue team and broader organization grow from 0 to 1 by building the foundations for scale. 

Bringing knowledge and point-of-view on most effective revenue management tech & tools. 

Representing the customer experience and priorities in product/tech roadmap planning. 

Owning Salesforce infrastructure requirements and roadmap for a new transportation business initiative. 

Providing expertise in Revenue Strategy & Operations functions and the FTL transportation industry. 

Building a mechanism for revenue forecasting, goal tracking, and input/output metrics to assess team performance and identify gaps and action plans. 

Operating as a Chief of Staff to the Senior Director, Revenue to build an operational cadence & reporting structure and making strategic decisions around scaling a new revenue organization. 

Identifying ways to drive performance across the business development and strategic account management teams by using data-driven decision making & cross functional collaboration. 

Building and administering sales incentive plans; evolving the structure and metrics with the business maturity and scale 

Scaling a new customer onboarding process and team. 

Supporting in the creation and execution of playbooks and implementation of all aspects of the go-to-market  

Being flexible and able to wear a lot of hats during early-stage growth motions 

Preferred Qualifications  

6+ years experience in a Strategy & Operations role 

4+ years experience working with or in Client Success and/or Operations roles 

Ability to handle ambiguity and are enthusiastic to “roll up your sleeves” 

Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, ideally in go-to-market environments 

Can take a proactive, consultative approach, building trust consistently and quickly  

Skilled at prioritization and organization and work well under pressure  

Critical data-driven decision-making skills and strong in excel and analytical tools  

Hold a high standard of ethics and integrity   

Previous experience working with Sales & Business Development Leaders   

Experience building from 0 to 1   

A background in freight brokerage and/or FTL transportation growth strategy or sales & account management 

Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
