Director, Sales and Retail Operations
Position OverviewThe Director of Sales & Retail Operations is responsible for overseeing and driving the overall sales performance, operational efficiencies, and strategic direction of the region sales team and retail operations division. The Director is accountable for leading a cross-functional team to achieve regional EBITDA and revenue goals, boost productivity, and create growth opportunities for both internal and external customers. This role also ensures the effective execution of operations to enhance sales, minimize expenses, and meet profit and budget objectives. Additionally, the Director collaborates with customers to improve their experience with C&S, supporting their relevance within the industry and financial health as Independent Retailers.

Develops and maintains relationships with key customers to grow the purchase concentration ratio all while maintaining customer advocacyLeads cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience and establishes key performance indicators through ongoing customer educationProvide leadership to the organization by aligning overall KPIs to achieve short-term and long-term business objectivesEnsures the development and growth of the sales team by utilizing hands-on training and continuing educational services offered both internally and externallyExceeds EBITDA projections and optimizes incremental revenue growth through effective operating cost management and labor controlsSupports customer’s business strategy by providing and maintaining the highest level of service and the Company's solutions to enable growth for both the customer and the CompanyLead cross-functional process improvement teams to identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance retail operationsTravel Required

Proven sales leadership experience including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management; ability to communicate, present, and influence multiple levels within an organizationStrong interpersonal and communication skills; embrace challenges and an ability to manage multiple tasks at once; proven ability to engage with and influence others
