You will bring our ‘fit-for-future’ retail strategy to life through defining a clear C&P sales strategy, roadmap, fostering collaboration with internal stakeholders and retailers, and ensuring senior stakeholder alignment to define and accelerate growth into Cakes & Pastries. Your strategic ability to grasp business dynamics, recognize opportunities and deliver results will be instrumental in ensuring that Mondelez is set up for success in the C&P space. WHAT THIS TEAM AND ROLE DOES
As a Sales Director within the Sales Transformation team, you will play a critical leadership role in defining our sales transformation strategy & roadmap to accelerate our portfolio within Cakes & Pastries (C&P) to enable achievement of our Vision 2030 growth aspirations.
• Identity opportunities that will impact our short to medium term performance and step-change driving penetration and occasion level sales service to accelerate C&P growth mission
• Construct a multi-year expansion plan for C&P, including route to market evaluation, channel/customer segmentation, sales incentives and targets to support in store execution
• Create strategies to launch and improve retail execution across all channels
• Partner with Revenue Growth Management (RGM), shelving, and Price Pack Architecture (PPA) strategies to create business cases for internal creation and external partnerships
• Define strategy for stronger partnership between ventures and MDLZ sales organization to leverage scale and expand customer reach
• Partner with customer service & logistics to incorporate the best route to market for retailer execution on C&P bundles including 60-90 day Shelf life product RTM design and Pilot executions
• Partner with category, insights, category planning and customer teams to help craft MDLZ C&P customer level category growth story and drive select customer engagement process.
• Partner with category, insights, and category planning teams in building MDLZ C&P Go to Market playbook and develop and drive execution on playbook tests with key select customers.
• Develop MDLZ C&P shelving transition strategy (Biscuit to C&P Aisle) and execution roadmap leveraging in market test and learns with select customers
**What extra ingredients you bring:**
· 10+ years of experience in sales, planning, and/or retail leadership role; diverse experiences are a plus
· Deep retail and sales acumen with a strong understanding of E2E commercial processes and customer ecosystem, category management, and route to market
· Strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and strategic vision to overcome operational roadblocks
· Exceptional communication, executive presence, and collaboration skills to maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
· University Degree, Masters Preferred
For salaried roles based: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $136,,200 to $238,350; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. (for Band I+ also include… and eligibility to participate in our long-term incentive program).
