Director, Sales Enablement and Operations

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that supports the field sales team, the team could include subject matter experts, sales operations, field marketing and inside sales professionals. The Director will be tasked with strategic planning, operational management, analytics and reporting, and spearheading initiatives to improve overall growth and performance.  

The role requires a leader with a collaborative approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster a high-performance environment. The Director will be expected to have a strong track record in enhancing sales operations, strategy, and execution, and to be adept at aligning team objectives with broader organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop sales tools and resources to support the sales teamSupport the buying and selling processes at all stages, from lead generation through win/lossPartner with various stakeholders across the RaceTrac, Inc organization in marketing, finance, and IT to translate business needs into actionable processes, results and/or metrics that benefit the stakeholder or the sales organizationDetermine key initiatives that drive growth, improve the sales process, and provide insights into sales related processes and metricsDesign and develop sales tools and resources to support the growth of incremental fuel programsDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customersDevelop and refine sales reports, including pipeline analysis, sales forecasts, conversion rates, and territory performanceCollaborate with Fuel technology team to automate sales reporting to deliver timely insights to relevant stakeholders Evaluate and recommend process changes to sales funnel as necessary to position the brand for growthOversee day-to-day contract management in support of sales operations Responsible for field marketing strategy and oversight of program impactManage and mentor team of sales operations, field marketing and account manager rolesCollaborate with brand marketing on branding, messaging and content creationOwnership of sales technology stack

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field or comparable experience 7-10 years' experience in sales enablement/operations/field marketingStrong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and techniquesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to motivate and inspire a sales operations team to achieve goals Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data manipulation and analysis techniques Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)  Knowledge of CRM systems and sales processes (e.g., Salesforce)Business acumen and understanding of sales metrics
