Title: Director, SEC Reporting

Overview
Blue Yonder is looking for a Director of SEC Reporting
with a deep background of SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and compliance. This role will lead the SEC reporting function, reporting to head of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting. You will join a highly collaborative team supporting the development of the Company’s Form S-1 and will lead the ongoing SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and other relevant required filings.

What you will do:
Lead the development of the Company’s Form S-1 in preparation for an upcoming IPO.
Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, Proxy, and other required filings.
Oversee the development and maintenance of the Company’s SEC filings, including XBRL.
Lead drafting sessions and develop appropriate disclosures through industry and peer benchmarking during quarterly and annual filings.
Support the preparation of materials for audit committee and disclosure committee meetings.
Present at Disclosure Committee meetings and/or Audit Committee meetings, as appropriate.
Coordinate communications with external auditors on financial statements to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on disclosures and reporting issues.
Participate in technical accounting research and preparation of technical accounting memos.
Monitor and assess U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize reporting processes.
Assist in the development of internal controls over financial reporting related to financial reporting.
Lead and develop financial reporting team.
Assist in special accounting and finance projects on an ad-hoc basis.
What we are looking for:
Thorough knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance.
10+ years of SEC reporting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Big-4 public accounting and industry experience with large publicly traded companies.
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree in Accounting.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Proficiency with SEC filing and reporting software.
Relevant industry experience in a SaaS company is a plus.
Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to apply sound judgment in order to (1) facilitate problem identification; (2) generate alternative solutions; (3) adapt to changing situations; and (4) manage issues to a successful resolution.
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including written and verbal communication, especially in developing positions and presenting to management, auditors, and non-accounting stakeholders.
Demonstrated professional commitment, initiative, accountability, and ownership of assignments.
A team player, adept at building relationships across the organization.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. Workday) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, power point and Outlook) required.
Ability to set and keep deadlines at a fast pace without losing accuracy.
Outstanding organizational and project management skills with extensive experience managing multiple complex assignments simultaneously.

The salary range for this position is $137,127.00 USD to $172,873.00 USD
The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
