This position will be based in Elizabeth, NJ (preferred) or Boston, MA and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed. Join us at Gallo Winery as our next Director of Sales for Spirits Distributor Management, where you will spearhead the execution of our annual sales plan. You will work closely with distributor leadership to ensure that our brands receive the necessary resources and that market conditions are constantly assessed to maximize opportunities. Your responsibilities will include managing the planning process, overseeing the efforts of field sales personnel, and ensuring the execution of sales programs. You will also play a significant role in the recruitment strategy on college campuses and participate in market surveys to advise on sales strategies. Your financial acumen will be essential in ensuring the profitability of our brands and making sound business decisions based on data and market trends. In this role, you will also be responsible for building and maintaining an effective distributor network, leveraging technology to monitor performance, and engaging in consumer-facing events. What You Will Need: + Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of Winery/distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of winery/distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 14 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility. + Supervisory/managerial experience. + Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire. + Required to travel by air and automobile up to 60% during the course of business. + Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation: + Hiring salary range posted: $178,200 - $267,400 / year + Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
