Director, Strategic Alignment, Equity and Inclusion, Remote
The role will steward the development and implementation of our strategic organizational equity and inclusion vision through programmatic and operational leadership, service, and innovation that elevates our internal workforce, our practices, and the communities we serve.
The director will be a credible and trusted thought leader, influencer, advisor, coach. They will lead transformational change at all levels of the organization through an inspiring, data-driven, and engaging interpersonal approach. They will forge strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders resulting in increased awareness, change adoption, and sustainable equity and inclusion improvements in service to Aledade’s mission.
Primary Duties:Organizational Change Management- Own the change management process and influence cross-functionally and laterally to embed equity and inclusion into all aspects of Aledade . Own and manage the evidence based, data informed E&I OKR and governance processes to ensure we meet our yearly goals.Learning and Development- Develop, implement, and use a cycle of continuous improvement to ensure E&I training modules, virtual/in-person presentations and programs demonstrate the value of equity &  inclusion within value based care delivery.Stakeholder Management- Establish, maintain, and grow external strategic partnerships to optimize synergies, achieve aligned equity and inclusion goals. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to build cross functional alignment and streamline operations for scalability, efficiency, and reliable results.People Management- Foster a team environment of belonging, professionalism, and respect through exemplary leadership and living Aledade’s core values. Provide mentorship and coaching; engage in bidirectional feedback and continuous learning to make sure the team has the training, resources and tools needed to achieve our mission and function at the highest level. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, education, ethnic studies, or related field12+ years of progressive leadership experience5+ years of people management experienceMinimum 5 years of experience in the strategic development and performance improvement of organizational diversity, equity & inclusion programsPreferred Qualifications: Effective in building and sustaining strong relationships with a demonstrated ability to influence and manage high-stakes relationships with a diverse group of staff and partnersAbility to build and lead high performing teams, delegate where appropriate (holding owners accountable, anticipating roadblocks early in the process and working to remove them) and lead with a high degree of emotional intelligenceExcellent written and verbal communicator with expertise in building and delivering effective executive level presentations tailored to the audience Operational and functional expertise in organizational, cross-functional project/committee management and change managementExperience and knowledge of Equity and Inclusion best practices including expertise and comfort in facilitating meaningful conversations with internal and external stakeholdersExpertise in conflict resolution with demonstrated ability to establish or restore harmony; maintain professional demeanor during emotionally charged, difficult or high-pressure situations and foster inclusive environments where all team members feel a sense of belongingStrong analytical skills to determine organizational needs, develop strategies to meet those needs, and evaluate Equity and Inclusion effectivenessSubject matter expert in issues and trends related to health equity; diversity and inclusion best practices; leadership and managerial principles; strategy developmentCompany- first mindset and strong commitment to elevating a culture where everyone is valued and treated with dignity and respect as we deliver on our mission of better care and lower cost
