Job Description

The Director, Strategy defines daily functional management of client needs and lead the daily work of the Strategy team. You will report to either the Director, Strategy or VP, Strategy.

Your Impact:

You will be one of the critical client leads overseeing the media strategyYou will have in-depth understanding of the role of media channels in a planYou will further develop your expertise in different media research toolsYou will provide support the VP, Strategy and other senior leaders in the planningYou will manage a team of direct and a larger team of indirect reports managing them in:OnboardingPerformance Management'Provide training processes and toolsManage and delegate team workloadCoach team to achieve client and agency requestsYou will manage multiple accounts and will transition between them conducting the following activities:You will be accountable to the team's deliverables and outcomesYou will provide the initial feedback on media strategies, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with other teamsYou will provide input to client to help shape their marketing prioritiesYou will develop a daily relationship with appropriate clients on assigned brandsYou will oversee overall media strategy, approach, and plan on each accountYou will manage the media channel mix and initial budget allocation & rationaleYou will represent the interests of other capability teams in client and agency partner meetingsYou will collaborate with internal leaders to ensure strategic agreement of deliverables with client needsPush for continuous improvement of self, team, and client deliverablesYou will be responsible for organic growth efforts on your account and may be asked to help with new business efforts

Qualifications7-8+ years media planning experience·3+ years management experience2+ year of cross-channel media planning experience·Familiarity with standard media research and planning tools (e.g. Clear Decisions)·1+ years previous pharma media experience, across a diverse set of conditions, disease states, and audiences (DTC, HCP, Payer)

Compensation Range: $98,500 - $154,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
