Job Summary
The Director, Strategy and Transformation is responsible for leading critical, cross-functional strategic and innovation initiatives end-to-end across the enterprise. The role ensures programs (and sub-projects) are properly scoped with business cases and recommendations that are specialized to solve unique and complex opportunities underpinning Papa John’s larger enterprise strategy. The Director serves as an internal consultant in problem solving, project management, financial modeling and M&A, and is considered an expert in this job discipline within the company. These transformation initiatives will be sponsored at the highest levels of the organization and this role will have visibility at that level.
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders ensuring alignment to the media and corporate strategy
Advise, direct and own programs and projects that require practical experience, theoretical understanding, and technical knowledge in business strategy, financial modeling, transformation techniques and M&A
Act as the single point of contact for the coordination of a complex set of workstreams/projects concurrently as well as
integrate change management strategies where applicable
Analyze and manage risks in order to minimize negative effects on a project. This includes developing and maintaining risk registers
Prepare and review comprehensive project documentation. This includes quality assurance plans, checklists, approval sheets for deliverables, comment trackers, etc.
Develop recommendations based on research, observation, problem-solving, and analytics/modeling
Develop reports and briefings for executive leadership and facilitate discussions to drive alignment on recommendations
Lead the holistic development of the Annual Long-Range Strategic Plan for PJI (5+ years)
Lead the ELT (Executive Leadership Team) through the development of quarterly board material development
