THE ROLE

In close partnership with NewCo’s Chief Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for delivering strategic vision and operational oversight for the Enterprise Information Security Architecture and Product Security. The role will be responsible for working with internal and external partners to support the Information Security Organization, define a comprehensive strategy aligned to business objectives, and execute the approved programs sequence, implementing project/program work to drive stakeholder accountability ensure business outcomes. You will partner closely with executives and business leaders, providing guidance and ensuring information security strategy aligns with business objectives. You will also lead, coach, mentor, and develop a growing team of information security professionals that sit within NewCo and its operating companies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Information Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's objectives. Continuously assess and update security protocols, frameworks, and policies to address emerging threats and compliance requirements. Security Architecture Design: Drive the development and maintenance of the organization's security architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Design secure systems, networks, and infrastructure, considering scalability, resiliency, and emerging technologies. Build security solutions for current and future products, where security principles are codified and integrated directly into product designs and blueprints/protypes. Work with the sales, client teams, and resellers to ensure we provide the controls and information needed to facilitate growth and strong relationships. Oversee the security of our products and ensure alignment with the risk tolerance of the business. Ensure the company is positioned, from a security standpoint, that it can quickly integrate any size acquisition and execute on its vision. Coordinate the use of external resources involved in the information security program across operating companies. This includes assessing, interviewing, negotiating contracts and fees, and managing vendors. Stay current and share best practices with operating companies on how to use modern methods to address security gaps. Partner with stakeholders to ensure consistent execution security best practices and aligns with corporate policies. Facilitate and monitor key performance metrics and reporting frameworks to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitating resource allocation and increasing the maturity of the security.

WHO YOU ARE

Minimum of 5 years of executive leadership experience in enterprise-wide information security.  Minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience in enterprise risk and information security for a large global enterprise.  Industry-recognized information security management certifications such as: CISSP, CISM, or CRISC desired.  Deep knowledge of Cloud Security, Network Security, Data Protection, Web/Mobile Application Security.  Demonstrated ability to drive security transformation in an organic and inorganic growth enterprise environment.  Proficiency in security architecture design, including network security, cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, and secure coding practices. Experience in a customer facing role, including performing contract review and compliance. Expertise across security, privacy, IT audit, and legal security standards, guidelines, and principles within a large, highly distributed organization.  Demonstrated ability to leverage advanced knowledge of a business structure and components of a product or service to evaluate business needs, analyze gaps caused by change initiatives, determine potential opportunities and drive transformation. Experience leading technical security scanning, penetration testing, social engineering testing, application security testing, mobile device security analysis, and network security analysis/operations.  Demonstrated ability to effectively manage remote offshore teams, fostering collaboration, communication, and achieving shared security objectives. In-depth understanding of risk assessment methodologies, compliance requirements, and privacy regulations. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
