WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking an exciting and proven leader to establish and lead the Post Production team, ensuring the studio sets a new standard for creativity, technical excellence, and agility.
The ideal candidate will:
· Possess deep expertise in post-production for e-commerce and premium storytelling, with a track record of elevating the visual and narrative impact of content.
· Be a guardian of Nike’s brand standards, ensuring every output reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and authenticity.
· Leverage a global mindset, collaborating across geographies while embracing local market nuances to deliver China-right content.
· Lead with a people-first approach, building and inspiring a team that thrives in an agile, high-paced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Director of Post Production, you will be responsible for building the systems, tools, and processes needed to drive best-in-class post-production at scale. You will:
· Oversee all post-production deliverables, including video editing, retouching, motion graphics, and visual effects for e-commerce, live streaming, and editorial campaigns.
· Set a new bar for premium content while ensuring scalable, efficient workflows to meet daily production demands.
· Champion innovation by adopting cutting-edge tools and techniques, including Generative AI and automation, to enhance both quality and speed.
· Establish seamless processes for collaboration between production, creative, and post-production teams.
· Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining the agility to meet evolving market needs.
· Build and maintain relationships with key post-production vendors and talent, expanding the studio’s capabilities where needed.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the Senior Director of ICON.SH and collaborate with:
· Studio leadership across Production, Creative & Styling, Operations, and Business Planning.
· Internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Marketplace, Business Affairs, Legal, Finance, HR, Procurement and Technology.
· External partners and vendors in production, casting, and post-production.
· Global counterparts within the ICON.Studios network.
WHAT YOU BRING
· 10+ years of post-production experience with expertise in managing complex workflows at scale, especially in e-commerce and high-touch content.
· Proven ability to elevate premium brand content while managing high-volume deliverables.
· 5+ years of leadership experience, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
· Advanced knowledge of video editing, retouching, VFX, motion graphics, workflow management, etc.
· Experience driving automation and adopting innovative technologies to enhance workflows.
· High attention to detail and a passion for maintaining brand consistency across all deliverables.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, adapting to new challenges and opportunities.
· Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work across global and local teams.
· Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is preferred.
