We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of the **Director, Supervisory Board Chairman** **Office** to support the Supervisory Board Chairman Office. **PURPOSE AND SCOPE:** The **Director, Supervisory Board Chairman Office** reports to the Head of the Supervisory Board Chairman Office and has a strategic role in supporting and facilitating the effective functioning of the Supervisory Board and ensuring compliance with legal and governance requirements. Furthermore, this role plays a key part in coordinating and driving the activities of the Supervisory Board Chairman Office in close alignment with all relevant stakeholders. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Support the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, the Supervisory Board and its committees via: + Planning, structuring and preparation of Supervisory Board and committee meetings + Preparation and alignment of high-quality resolution and information material + Coordinate with and manage the work of external advisors and third parties + Coordinate with and interact with senior management stakeholders + Conduct research and analysis to guide decision-making processes + Independently manage special projects and assignments + Identify, develop, recommend and implement initiatives as well as review and improve processes to ensure efficiency of the Supervisory Board Chairman Office + Fulfill ad-hoc requests from the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Supervisory Board or internal and external stakeholders + Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information + Represent the organization within area of responsibility **EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:** + University degree in Law, Economics, Psychology or other related fields with a minimum of8-year professional experience, especially with respect to German Stock Corporation Act and the German Corporate Governance Code. **EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:** + Proven track record in working on strategic projects in an international corporate environment or in consulting. + Excellent project management skills, accuracy, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills + Competence in dealing with complexity and multiple interdependencies. + Interaction with diverse internal and external stakeholders that requires a very high level of discretion. + High degree of resilience and commitment as well as an independent, structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented way of working and an entrepreneurial way of thinking. + Ability to deal with a high level of ambiguity and with a rapidly changing business environment. + Maneuvers comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organizational dynamics. + Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. + Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences. + Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments. + Applies knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization's goals. + Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances. + Due to the nature of the role, you will be expected to communicate at the highest management levels, both verbally and in writing, in English and German.
