We have long been associated with many of the most significant advances in eye health, and we believe we are well positioned to continue leading the advancement of eye health in the future. **Objectives:** The Supply Chain (SC) Director is responsible for balancing inventory and costs to achieve optimal service levels for customers based in the Pharma USA (RX – Prescribed GX – Generics) Business Unit, and for products manufactured by Tampa B+L site for the global demand. This includes providing regional demand, supply & inventory forecasts, limiting obsolescence risks, supporting effective launches & discontinuations, providing robust level of Sales & Operations Governance forums to ensure cross functional collaboration is supported by Supply chain on regular & frequent basis. Supply chain director for Tampa site is responsible for end-to-end management of supply chain costs, flows, organizations, so that manufacturing performance of the **site** is optimized its goals from supply chain point of view. Purpose of the job thus is to ensure customers have optimal service support and product supply, capital deployment for inventory is lean and cost effective, planning practices are standardized across portfolios or/and products which are managed by the Tampa Supply chain team for various regions, markets, DC’s, BU’s. The SC Director is driving standardization of best practices of demand & supply planning across all sites globally, which contribute to pharma & lens care business segments, and facilitates integration of site logistics value flow to the global supply chain network of the B+L company. **Responsibilities:** + Drive and Orchestrate S&OP process for Pharma USA Business Unit, as well as Tampa site, focusing on balance between demand, supply and inventory targets. + Balance international demand with US requirements to ensure equitable global supply / support. + Partner with Global External Manufacturing Team to ensure forecast, priorities is provided to all 3rd party manufacturers is shared and communication of supply timelines is efficient and accurate back to customer services / commercial teams. + Balance supply planning from external and internal sites (Tampa, Greenville) for Consumer and Pharma BU to ensure right amount of capital is deployed to achieve highest level of service to our customers. + Monitor relevant fill rate across Domestic and International portfolio for all Tampa portfolio and All Pharma BU USA portfolio, as well as stock positions in DC, to analyze and interpret demand. signals and their impact on the manufacturing site; work with operations to develop appropriate supply plans to meet these requirements. + Contribute to budgeting of the site, as well pharma USA Business unit (Sales, Cost plans). + Review demand forecast and recommend adjustments as necessary. + Monitor Gross Factory Sales to react quickly to ‘under or over’ forecasted finished goods. + Contribute to the design and implementation of recovery plans for the site. + Contribute to the creation, maintains and update of strategic Tampa manufacturing site plans (extension, modernization, change, etc.) on an annual basis. + Highlight products with low forecast accuracy and work with team to improve and meet forecast accuracy goals. + Provide guidance to commercial teams related to any potential service or backorder issues. + Monitor performance to established metrics and create appropriate measures to negate unfavorable trends. + Maintain all relevant planning system parameters at the site. + Integral participant in plant budgeting process; supply load and corresponding configuration changes in coming year to allow operations to determine labor models. + Work closely with purchasing staff on relevant issues pertaining to the demand and supply of raw materials and packaging components. + Actively monitor overall spend to remain within department budget. + Lead team on projects related to production planning improvements. + Execute other managerial and operational disciplines of the Planning Department as and when required. + Maintain the credibility of the department within the Organization through a professional and mature approach while delivering on commitments. **Qualifications:** + ASCM (APICS) – CPIM or CSCP certification desired + Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus + Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing planning / procurement with comprehensive knowledge of Planning / Inventory Management and a detailed understanding of all other Supply Chain functions; Consumer Goods experience a plus + Strong numerical and analytical skills + Focused on Customer Service and delivering Key Operational Metrics + Ability to act as a team player, or independently, and with excellent multi-tasking ability and attention to detail + Must have a solid understanding of MRP / ERP software and the ability to configure settings to produce the desired result; the facility uses several systems (ERPLx, Manugistics, and PeopleSoft) that share data, and the ability to reconcile them is a must + Ability to use Excel at an advanced level + Able to be onsite at Tampa location **We offer competitive salary & excellent benefits including:** + Medical, Dental, Eye Health, Disability and Life Insurance begins on your hire date + 401K Plan with company match and ongoing company contribution + Paid time off – vacation (3 weeks - prorated upon hire), floating holidays and sick time + Employee Stock Purchase Plan with company match + Employee Incentive Bonus + Tuition Reimbursement (select degrees) + Ongoing performance feedback and annual compensation review All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
