Director, Talent Acquisition

Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and optimize our talent acquisition efforts at a fast- growing retail organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute a scalable talent acquisition strategy, drive innovation in our recruitment processes, and support our expansion across stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices. You will lead efforts to attract top talent, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure that our hiring strategies are aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities

Strategic LeadershipDevelop and implement a scalable talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our business goals, supporting growth across retail, corporate, and distribution operations.Partner with business leaders and HR teams to forecast hiring needs and proactively build a strong talent pipeline.Lead recruitment efforts across various levels, including executive hiring, to ensure alignment with our organizational objectives.Process OptimizationContinuously refine and optimize recruitment processes to improve efficiency, enhance the candidate experience, and support our expanding operations.Implement tools and systems to streamline sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a smooth and consistent process for all candidates.Design strategies to support new store openings, distribution center growth, and corporate hiring needs while ensuring alignment with our culture and values.Data-Driven Decision MakingTrack and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and sourcing effectiveness.Use data to identify trends, uncover bottlenecks in the recruitment process, and implement solutions for improvement.Provide clear and actionable recruitment reports to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.Scalability and Contingency PlanningAnticipate recruitment challenges and develop contingency plans to ensure rapid scaling of hiring efforts without compromising on candidate quality or cultural fit.Build and maintain a diverse and high-quality talent community to meet current and future staffing needs.Collaboration and Employer BrandingBuild strong relationships with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure recruitment efforts are aligned with broader business goals.Collaborate with recruitment marketing to strengthen our employer brand and attract top talent.Provide training and resources for hiring managers to ensure best practices in recruitment and interviewing.ROI and Budget ManagementManage the talent acquisition budget to optimize recruitment spend and maximize ROI.Evaluate and leverage external sourcing channels, managing vendor relationships to ensure value and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

7-10 years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a fast-paced, high-growth retail or similar environment.Proven ability to scale recruitment efforts, optimize processes, and enhance the candidate experience.Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.Experience with CRM, ATS, HRIS platforms, and data analytics tools.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time."
