Lead a team of IT resources focused on Product Quality and Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Post Market Surveillance, Product Recall Mgmt, Clinical Research, and Data & Analytics
Collaborate with business partners and technology leaders to define a strategic and tactical roadmap of IT initiatives. Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on expected IT outcomes
Deliver committed IT roadmap, monitor execution, resolve roadblocks, and coordinate interdependencies
Proactively identify and resolve issues; manage risks, scope changes, and other non-standard events throughout the life of the product. Make recommendations for and implement improvements
Work with system leaders and functional teams to ensure products and services adhere to compliance and controllership standards, including audits
Ensure transparent, proactive communication and progress reporting at all levels of the organization including functional and IT stakeholders, leadership, and senior executives
Lead and coach team members both in daily execution and performance development
Provide leadership throughout the annual budgeting cycle to identify opportunities, prioritize, and maximize outcomes within allocated targets. Perform financial reviews, ensure ongoing budget tracking, and track budget outcomes realization
QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
8 + years' experience working as a product manager on technology-powered product teams, and proven understanding of modern techniques in product discovery and delivery.
Desired CharacteristicsTechnical Expertise:
IT experience in technical product management or technical program management
IT experience with implementing SaaS solutions, cloud-based technologies
IT experience with the following solutions: Pega, Trackwise Digital, Veeva, data and analytics solutions (PowerBI, Spotfire)
Business Acumen:
Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
Proven ability challenging program/product planning assumptions. Able to re-appropriate existing solutions to new requirements and situations
Able to balance a broad range of customers, competing priorities, and technologies while empathizing with multiple points of view
Excellent communication skills including ability to explain complex solutions and processes to non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Leadership:
Excellent team building and coaching skills
Strong collaborative negotiating skills, both internally and with third party vendors
Ability to make decisions and drive results in a large and complex organizational setting where problems and solutions are not 100% defined
A proven track record of defining and executing large global technical programs and providing solutions and services to thousands of customers

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $148,000.00-$222,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
