THE ROLE

The Director of Technology Infrastructure and Operations has overall responsibility at Legends for the ongoing operations and integrity of Legends technology platform. Reporting to the SVP, Enterprise Solutions, the successful candidate will lead a team providing operational support to Legends users and ensures availability, stability and scalability of business systems and platforms. Under this role you will manage, support and maintain the company’s hardware platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the organization’s technology infrastructure supports its overall mission and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the various platforms that enable the business of Legends including cloud, servers, storage and other software and hardware componentsBuild and implement a server and software strategy designed to optimize security and scalability of the Legends application portfolioOnboard new technologies into our portfolio without compromising standards, security or healthProvide input into and support of proposed new corporate technologiesManage and communicate platform health and performanceSupport the business through the deployment and management of a performant application technology infrastructureDefine and communicate business application architecture strategies, principals, standards, policies and proceduresManage the production environment for Legends including the integration infrastructure with our partners and third-party productsWorking with the InfoSec team, ensure the security and compliance of the IT infrastructure with relevant regulations and standardsProvide recommendations for cost containment and efficiencies in our cloud environment, manage spending and provide budget guidance to projects or new initiatives on the stand up and run costs associated with the needed infrastructureAnalyze current application portfolio, installed technology and infrastructure to identify opportunities and recommend solutions

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE     

7+ years in cloud and on prem server and business technology support4+ years supporting an organization with distributed locations and cloud presenceTechnology degree or similar work experienceMicrosoft Windows ServerMicrosoft Office 365, collaboration suite and Azure AD DeploymentAzure CloudServer backup technologiesIT Management tools (e.g. Active Directory, System Center)
