What is the opportunity?
Our RBC Operational Risk team is currently hiring a Director, Transformational Change. We strive to evolve operational risk with technological products and services that drive consistency across business segments, regions, and legal entities. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Transformation Change to lead major organizational changes and drive strategic initiatives.
What will you do?
Lead and oversee major organizational transformations and strategic initiativesDevelop and implement transformational change strategies, frameworks, and methodologies to drive successful outcomesCollaborate with senior leaders across the enterprise and cross-functional teams to align transformation efforts with change goals and objectivesDevelop stakeholder relationships within Operational Risk and with partners, as required Define project-specific change management scope, strategy, approach, and deliverables implement organizational change toolkit, methodology, and activities across multiple projects, with a focus on technology adoption programs Lead the development and delivery of project scope and requirements within specified timeframe including: Stakeholder analysis and engagementChange impact analysisCommunications, training plans and materials Local adoption tracking and reporting, providing suggestions for mitigating actions, where necessaryMonitor and evaluate progress of transformational initiatives, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategiesDrive continuous improvement and innovation in change management practices and processesManage and mentor two change management professionals, providing direction and support to drive performance and growthWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
10+ years of Transformational Change experience working in professional services / consulting experience with a reputable firmProven track record of successfully driving complex organizational transformations and implementing large scale, complex technology adoption programsAdvanced understanding of organizational change management processes and proven application of change management methodologies and principles (e.g., Prosci, Kotter)Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsAbility to synthesize system information and business processes into clear impacts and benefits that are conveyed through learning, communication, and presentation materialsStrategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute innovative transformation strategies that deliver measurable resultsExperience managing and leading teams, with demonstrated people management skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environmentAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvementBachelor’s degree in related discipline or an equivalent amount of professional experience Exceptional PowerPoint, storytelling, and communication skills (including facilitation in remote / virtual models)Nice-to-have
