**Job Summary**
The Director of Transportation Planning leads the strategic development and execution of transportation initiatives to enhance mobility, efficiency, and sustainability within the organization. This role oversees transportation studies, data analysis, budgeting, and stakeholder collaboration to optimize logistics operations. Key responsibilities include long-term planning, regulatory compliance, infrastructure project management, and system optimization to ensure seamless and cost-effective transportation solutions.
**Core Responsibilities**
+ Lead a Transportation Planning Team responsible for proprietary product transport and third-party logistics execution.
+ Develop and implement a domestic freight strategy focused on delivery efficiency, quality, and compliance.
+ Establish an enterprise-wide centralized transportation planning team for common carriers, scaling across multiple ERP systems.
+ Drive financial success through cost optimization and operational excellence.
+ Expand and enhance 3PL transportation programs to support global transportation growth.
+ Develop a robust domestic visibility solution and KPI framework to improve carrier accountability and performance.
+ Foster strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Planning, Field Operations, and other teams to ensure secured shipment capacity.
+ Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning and Finance to integrate capacity forecasting into transportation planning.
+ Work closely with the International Transportation and Trade Compliance Team to ensure seamless international shipment handoffs.

**Qualifications & Experience**
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ 5–10 years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
+ Strong leadership, strategic planning, and financial acumen.
+ Ability to travel up to 25%.
