The Director, Intraday Liquidity must have experience working in financial institutions, preferably with bank or broker-dealer, possess great partnership skills coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills. Schwab Treasury Cash Management is an intraday liquidity management group that systematically gathers information about the firm’s collections, disbursements, and cash balances to manage intraday liquidity needs for Charles Schwab Corporation and its major subsidiaries including the Broker-Dealer and Bank & Trust Services. CM forecasts short-term daily cash flows, reconciles forecasts to actual, manages payment order flow, and sources and pools intraday liquidity to meet client and firm obligations.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Daily oversight, management, and performance reporting of the intraday liquidity functions for each of the large subsidiaries.
+ Ensure compliance with liquidity policies and guidelines.
+ Regularly monitors and implements improvements to enhance liquidity techniques.
+ Assesses and optimizes treasury products, services, technologies, and systems that are available and appropriate for the team and firm overall.
+ In partnership with department management and other team members, develops, regularly monitors, and reports on intraday liquidity objectives. Participates with other leaders and peers to translate strategic objectives into tactical plans and action items.
+ Exercises excellent business judgment in determining the methods, techniques, and approaches for obtaining operating and strategic results.
+ Leads a team of professionals, constantly evaluates and optimizes team, technology, and overall liquidity monitoring framework performance.
+ Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company, the industry, the functional topic, and the evaluation of intangibles.
+ Leads corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and direct reports.
+ Monitor and measure expected daily gross liquidity inflows and outflows.
+ Identify and prioritize time-specific and other critical obligations in order to meet them when expected. Control credit to customers when necessary.
+ Ensure that liquidity planners understand the amounts of collateral and liquidity needed to perform payment-system obligations when assessing the organization’s overall liquidity needs.
**What you have**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or business related field
+ 7+ years of working in a financial institution in Treasury or Financial Risk Oversight functions
+ Familiarity with regulations pertaining to liquidity (SR 10-6)
+ Knowledge of financial institution’s balance sheet and cash flow mechanics
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to challenge and interact cross-functionally
+ Strong process orientation and analytical skills
+ Self-motivated, able to multi-task and perform under strict deadlines
**Preferred:**
+ 10+ years of working in financial institution subject to Prudential Standards in
+ Extensive technical knowledge
+ Ability to interact effectively with management and external bank contacts to resolve operational issues and propose new business practices.
+ Treasury or Financial Risk Oversight functions
+ Knowledge of Treasury Workstations
+ A Master’s degree in business related field or CFA/CTP/other related certification
+ Experience managing high-performing teams
+ Experience creating presentations for executive audiences
+ Experience with automation tools such as UiPath, Tableau, Power-Automate or Alteryx
In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.

CO Salary Range: USD $119,000 - $264,600 / Year
