Opportunity Overview Reporting to the Executive Director, US Marketing, the Director, US Marketing will be a key member of the US Marketing team.  Focused on supporting both HCP and Patient/Caregiver segments, this individual will be responsible for identification of strategic priorities and tactical execution to support continued efforts in current marketed indications in Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) and POMC/PCSK1 or LEPR deficiencies (PPL). Responsibilities and Duties + Build upon the integrated HCP & Patient/Caregiver marketing plans that support BBS and PPL indications + Partner with internal teams including Sales, Medical, and Patient Services on the development and implementation of strategies and tactics to support HCPs and Patients/Caregivers + Lead execution of omni-channel HCP & Patient/Caregiver tactical plans + Lead strategic exploration and development of innovative patient identification and adherence efforts + Lead the development and execution of unbranded and branded patient ambassador program and HCP speakers bureau in BBS + Partner with Marketing Ops and US Product Manager on the review and approval process of all BBS tactics and materials through legal, medical, and regulatory review + Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to develop tactics that will support the integrated marketing plan that encompasses the needs of the commercial organization + Partner with Market Research Business Partner to contribute to objectives and content of research to garner stakeholder insights to support HCP and Patient/Caregiver strategy and tactics + Serve as lead for BBS in annual brand planning process, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and vendor partners to develop key strategies and tactics supportive of brand objectives + Analyze qualitative and quantitative market data to generate a deeper understanding of the customer's needs, brand and disease issues and market potential including identifying target and emerging audiences, gaps in current data and to refine strategies and tactics + Build strong relationships with patient advocacy groups and support internal Patient Advocacy Team on development of disease education content + Ensure alignment with brand leads for other potential indications on content and strategies to support overarching business objectives + Manage budget for BBS marketing tactics, including all PO management and accruals + Manage multiple agency partners to produce deliverables on strategy within timelines and budget Qualifications and Skills + Bachelor's degree required + 10+ years of pharmaceutical marketing or combination of related industry experience + Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within pharmaceutical marketing + Rare disease experience highly preferred + Demonstrated ability to effectively create and communicate core brand positioning and messaging + Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with cross functional stakeholders such as Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Market Research, Patient Support Services, Patient Advocacy + Self-motivated, and highly energetic individual with the ability to adapt and deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment + Strong organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgment + Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset + Proven project management skills including objective setting, prioritization, planning, timeline and budget management, and pull-though of clear action plans + Ability to travel approximately 20% This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs.
