The Director, US Price Strategy will lead the development and execution of pricing strategies across the CSLB US portfolio of products to support value optimizing access to CSL Behring’s portfolio of US assets.
Main Responsibilities:
Facilitate development of portfolio & brand pricing strategies with consideration of increased customer consolidation and vertical integration within the US commercial value chain in support of brand strategy & priorities.Create and secure endorsement for implementation of innovative pricing models that enhance value realization and access in the US business leveraging the breadth and depth of CSL Behring's US product portfolio.Builds annual pricing plan of action & oversees execution in support of brand objectives. Support development of portfolio and class of trade contracting strategies. Ensure price and contract strategies support value maximizing access to our products.Systematically identify pricing & contracting risks and opportunities within our US portfolio to support strategic and tactical decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, healthcare systems, sales, and partner functions to integrate pricing considerations into ongoing brand management and execution.Operate as lead in defining and managing the process for RFP receipt, review, and response. Incorporating input from all relevant cross functional stakeholders, facilitate the development of aligned proposals for customer response.Ensure adherence to US pricing governance by supporting the timely preparation of business cases and content for pricing and contract review committees, coupled with facilitation of presentation at these committees.Collaborate with enterprise functions including but not limited to Finance, Legal, Corporate and External Affairs to develop and execute effective and compliant pricing strategies and tactics.Collaborate with the global pricing COE in support of pre-launch price planning and transition of assets to US executional team in advance of launch.Collaborate with brand and franchise leadership to identify and support implementation of targeted US pricing market research.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.12+ years of relevant professional experience.Extensive understanding of US healthcare systems, payer landscapes, market access dynamics.Deep understanding of US price and contracting levers impacting value realization and assets for new and mature assetsAbility to work productively and collaboratively in a cross-functional, team-based environment, managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities.Our BenefitsCSL employees that work at least 30 hours per week are eligible for benefits effective day 1.
