Within the Specialty Care Business Unit, the Immunology and Neurology Value & Access team’s vision is to optimize access for all products to deliver sustainable value for patients and healthcare partners.
The Director, Value and Access, Immunology is responsible to lead, develop and execute the market access strategy for new launch product Amlitelimab, a potential best-in-class, multi-indication product with lead indication in Atopic Dermatitis, within the Specialty Care Market Access immunology portfolio.
The individual will develop the value narrative across market access channels and various levels of population-based decision makers within the immunology landscape, working collaboratively with cross functional partners such as marketing, Health Economics and Outcomes Research, payer field teams and global team to execute access initiatives and gain/ maintain optimal product coverage and inclusion in account level nodes of management.
The candidate should have experience & high level of knowledge in market access, distribution strategy, reimbursement, and policy, and demonstrated ability to develop and execute pricing and contracting strategies.
The candidate is expected to demonstrate independent strategic thinking, accountability, and urgency for defined areas of responsibility. He/she may identify and coach/develop internal rotational colleagues in support of tactical execution of aforementioned strategies. The role will provide regular insights and updates to key internal and leadership stakeholders on important market access trends and issues and contribute to strategic portfolio projects and capability building for the organization.
This position is based in Cambridge, MA and will report to the Executive Director, Value and Access (Neurology and Immunology).

Main Responsibilities:
Lead and execute market access pre-launch and launch strategy for Amlitelimab in atopic dermatitis including post-launch value proposition and derivative tools/ resources for Payer and trade teams
Develop and execute pricing and contracting strategy
Lead integration of U.S. market access input into Amlitelimab onward indication development, inform V&A input into Global New Product Planning for assets in immunology, specifically dermatology.
Develop population-based decision maker (PBDM) materials for unbranded disease awareness campaigns, pre-approval information exchange (as applicable based on product/ indication lifecycle) and branded tactics for pull-through activities
Create actionable analytics at the plan and geographical level in order to measure access performance (payer coverage, account level inclusion – P&T/ Formulary, Pathways, Treatment Plans/ Order sets in EMR as appropriate)
Interface with consumer and HCP marketing colleagues to understand customer needs and insights and ensure bilateral exchange of strategic information
Identify product and organizational gaps and opportunities and determine solutions with a mindset toward innovation, marketplace evolution, and disruptive access tactics
About You
Critical Experiences Required to Be Successful in the Role
In addition to exhibiting the play-to-win behaviors:
10+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience in progressing roles including deep U.S. healthcare market experience and home office-based Marketing experience
6+ years of Market Access experience including Payer Marketing, Account Management, Pricing Strategy and/or Organized Customer Strategy and Marketing
Market access or Marketing launch experience in immunology or relevant specialty care TA
Strong understanding of US payer management approaches and internal and external trends impacting payer management within the specialty category
Ability to navigate and build consensus in a matrix environment; agile & accountable
Strong financial/analytical skills

Education and Work Experience:
Minimum level of job-related education: Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other graduate level degree preferred
Ability to proactively analyze business problems, identify key issues, develop strategic solutions, implement tactical programs, and design metrics to measure business impact
Strong communication skills and appreciation of positive team culture
Previous supervisory experience in commercial (Market access, Marketing) with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and influence
Commercialization experience in immunology
New products planning and multi-indication pricing experience
Evidence generation strategy development
