About the Job We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director Visual Operations to join our Visual Merchandising team. This position will direct the strategic programs in Visual Merchandising, from concept to completion for Tailored Brands. This individual will be responsible for budgets, inventory management of Visual Merchandising assets, store databases and maximizing efficiencies within the Visual Merchandising organization. This individual will collaborate cross functionally across the organization, to produce and deliver best in class Visual Merchandising programs across all banners timely and on budget. They will also lead a team of people that are responsible for continuous improvement in development and performance. This position is based Dublin, California and reports to the Vice President of Visual Merchandising. What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities Develop and implement a fixture rollout strategy, by banner, that aligns with company goals and objectives, this includes maintenance of the database to track and allocate Visual Merchandising assets when needed. Responsible for managing timelines, budgets and communication of all Visual Merchandising projects and programs. Oversee the graphic needs for the visual merchandising department, including the allocation and adherence to budget and assignment of tasks to support staff, while delivering a quality project that meets the needs of the business. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity for brand needs and develops specific action plan to align with corporate strategies. Partner with brand Visual Managers to support merchandising strategies with appropriate rollouts and development. Works closely with Real Estate and Store Design to coordinate projects, delivery of assets and plays a key role in new store and remodel execution Partner with Field Visual Directors to manage and move Visual Merchandising assets within the fleet Establishes relationships with vendors and forecasts new relationship needs based on future strategy. Additional duties as assigned. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree required in Business, or related field and/or 10 + years of relevant experience Strong verbal and written communications skills, highly organized, detailed oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office programs Ability to read, interpret, and analyze budgets and reporting to participate in the development of highly effective actions plans on specific objectives, goals and strategies Project management skills Superior people skills; with the ability to teach, coach and mentor effectively. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others at any level within the organization or external interactions. Proficient in spreadsheets, analysis, presentations and program management Highly organized and able to manage time effectively; able to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously. Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from both office and remote locations Position is based in our Dublin, California office. Up to 15-20% travel which includes market trips, industry conventions and other events, and other specific travel as designated. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 20% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
