Director, Workday Change Management

Primary Purpose The Director Workday Change Management will be responsible for leading the change management efforts for the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday within the organization. This role will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems, and technology. The primary goal is to ensure that the organization meets its objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage of Workday. Minimum Specifications Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management, preferably with Workday or other HRIS implementations. - Experience managing change related to large system implementations. Equivalent Education and/or Experience Certification/Registration/Licensure - Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci) preferred. - Project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred. Required Tests for Placement Skills or Special Abilities - Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Experience with Workday implementation and optimization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines. Responsibilities 1. Develop and lead the implementation of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage of Workday. 2. Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders. 3. Create and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. 4. Partner with the training lead who will design and deliver training programs and materials to support the transition to Workday. 5. Partner with the communication lead to communicate change initiatives effectively across the organization through various channels. 6. Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into overall project plans. 7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and adjust as needed. 8. Provide coaching and support to managers and supervisors to help them lead change within their teams. 9. Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change. 10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and project team members. 11. Escalate issues and concerns to the project management team as appropriate 12. Support the development of all OCM deliverables as stated in the Workday statement of work (SOW) 13. Coordinate the review of OCM materials with the appropriate Parkland Hospital stakeholders and team members. 14. Co-facilitate stakeholder meetings with the other project pleads as appropriate.
