Director, Workforce Strategy and Pipeline Success

There are approximately 25,000 associates.  The Director, Workforce Strategy and Pipeline Success, will play a critical role in shaping the future of the Diagnostics Platform and driving our talent strategy, and managing critical talent pipelines for the Diagnostics organization . Reporting directly to the Organizational Development and Talent Leader, this role will focus on developing the Workforce Strategy and building and strengthening the Talent Pipelines that are essential to delivering innovation and growth for Diagnostics. In this role you will bring strategic thought partnership and specialist, expert knowledge of strategic organizational development, talent assessment and development to work in close partnership with the Diagnostics and Corporate Talent teams, Business leaders and HR Business Partners to deliver practical talent solutions that align with and advance our business goals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:   + Develop Workforce Strategy: In partnership with Diagnostic Talent Partners and Business Leaders, prioritize and implement strategic workforce planning initiatives that will maximize innovation and business growth.  + Talent Pipeline Management: Focus on improving the health of critical talent pipelines by enhancing how we define, manage and measure success and increase the number of ready-now successors for critical roles.  + Assessment and Development: Create and maintain Success Profiles and validate tools to effectively evaluate and accelerate growth of talent for critical roles and integrate these assessments and growth strategies into talent acquisition and development processes.  + Leadership Development Programs: Partner with Corporate Talent / L&D teams to develop and facilitate targeted talent development for talent included in talent pipelines.  + Manage Pipeline Health: Lead a standardized process for management and reporting progress against established KPIs on talent pipeline health across Diagnostics using analytics, dashboards and reports to present to and engage senior leadership.  + Systematically collect and analyze talent data (qualitative and quantitative), through the creation of a disciplined listening and feedback mechanism in collaboration with Talent and HR Partners and Business Leaders to evaluate impact and inform / adapt the way in which we conduct strategic workforce planning and talent pipeline management.  + Leverage technology and modern, business-relevant methodologies to enhance talent processes , improve decision-making and improve insights into how we strengthen talent pipelines for the Diagnostics client groups.  The essential requirements of the job include : + Strategic Consultative Approach : You should have a proven track record of partnering effectively with senior leaders and serving as a trusted advisor on workforce strategy and talent pipeline management and development.  + Business Acumen : Ability to rapidly build a deep understanding of the Diagnostics healthcare industry and the ability to translate business needs into practical, customer-centric talent solutions.  + Global Perspective : Experience in navigating across different cultures and markets is essential and demonstrated ability to successfully manage the complexities of a global organization and delivery of inclusive and adaptable workforce strategies.  + Leadership and Influence : Demonstrate the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and successfully drive adoption of new talent processes across the organization.  + Data-Driven approach : Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform talent solutions. You have experience leveraging talent data to understand trends, measure the impact of talent initiatives and recommend actions.  + DEI Expertise : A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with experience in integrating DEI best practices into talent solutions.  + Workforce Strategy : Experience in strategic workforce planning and execution of workforce strategies for critical talent segments.  + Talent Assessment and Development : Experience in designing and delivering targeted talent assessment and development programs that build critical capabilities required for business innovation and growth.  + Project Management : Strong project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.  + Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner. You have a track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  + Adaptability and Innovation : The ability to adapt to changing business needs and continuously innovate talent practices to stay ahead of industry trends.  + Travel: Domestic and international travel is required (up to 30%) E ducation and Experience + Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience gained in various roles in talent management, assessment, organization design, consulting, analytics and /or prior experience gained in other business functions. For Master’s/Doctoral degree candidates with 12+ years of experience required .  This role can be based remotely in North America or Europe. #DxHRTransformation The salary range for this role is $120,300-$188,433. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
