Lenovo is seeking a highly skilled Firmware Director to lead our team in developing UEFI & BMC for our High End servers, Edge Servers, AI Servers, and key Hyperscale customers in North America. You will be responsible for managing and leading a firmware team dedicated to developing platform unique firmware features for our High End products. You will work closely with Worldwide Core Firmware, Hardware, Thermal, Power, I/O, and Product Assurance teams to deliver production firmware on schedule and with quality. Responsibilities: + Develop and implement platform unique firmware features for our High End products via corresponding firmware project managers and engineers. + Lead the team to work with Worldwide Core Firmware, Hardware, Thermal, Power, I/O, and Product Assurance in order to deliver production firmware on schedule and with quality. + Manage small engineering groups to address firmware infrastructure, sustaining, and Customer Support. + Attract, develop, and retain high skilled project managers and firmware development engineers.
