Northrop Grumman Corporate office is currently seeking a Director of Corporate Technology Strategy and Partnerships to support the development and execution of the company’s growth strategy. This position will report to the Corporate Chief Technology Officer and will be responsible driving the development of the corporate technology strategy and technology roadmaps, leading technology scouting activities at the enterprise level, and collaborating with the sectors to evaluate, structure and implement technology partnerships with technology companies, labs and universities. This position requires extensive collaboration across a diverse group of corporate, sector, business unit, and external subject matter experts.

The successful candidate will have deep knowledge of the technology ecosystem, a track record of leading cross-functional teams, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

This leadership opportunity will be located at the NG HQ office in Falls Church, VA.

Job Scope and Responsibilities:

Lead development of the enterprise technology strategy aligned to the overall company strategy and in collaboration

Assist in development of enterprise and sector / arena strategies.

Lead the development and execution of an enterprise technology partnership program, addressing technology companies (early stage through large industry leaders), universities and labs.

Lead enterprise technology scouting activities and collaborate with the sectors to identify technologies and partner companies that can provide technology differentiators to drive growth.

Build relationships within the Venture Capital ecosystem and DoD/IC innovation community to create greater awareness of technology trends.

Collaborate across the technology, strategy, M&A, strategic partnerships, and analysis center teams to support strategy development through execution.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 10 years of experience, in a related discipline (Business, Finance, Engineering).

Prior experience in strategy and market development.

Broad understanding of defense and intelligence arenas.

Prior experience with Venture Capital (VC) funds, early stage VC-backed companies, or advisory work with VCs.

Experience in large and complex organizations leading projects and cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to work well across all levels of management.

Active or previous DoD Collateral Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI, SAP/SAR

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in STEM, MBA, or higher degree

Northrop Grumman Portfolio briefed and a current Top Secret/SCI

Experience with strategic technology identification, development, and integration

Demonstrated ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs

Proven collaborator, with proven ability to work across multiple disciple areas

In-depth knowledge and experience of NG and U.S. Government products and systems, missions and operations

Experience with multiple Northrop Grumman business areas, setting a driving strategy via initiatives, AOP, and LRSP

Salary Range: $258,600.00 - $387,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
